Rudy Project is Italy’s performance eyewear house. Founded in Treviso in 1985 by former bike racer Rudy Barbazza, the brand set out to build better sunglasses for competitive cyclists. Within a year they were in the Tour de France, worn by champion Bernard Hinault.
Forty years on, Rudy Project remains designed and made in Italy, now led by the second generation of the Barbazza family. Frames purchased at Eyecare Project are eligible for a complimentary frame rehab. We’ll replace loose screws, make any necessary adjustments for a comfortable fit, and buff and polish acetate frames to help restore their finish and shine.
