Gucci is Italian luxury at its most recognisable. Founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, who was inspired by the beautifully crafted luggage he handled while working at London’s Savoy hotel, the house built a century of fashion on one founding obsession: craft.
The eyewear carries every house code: the interlocking GG monogram designed in 1933 as a tribute to Guccio, the green-red-green Web stripe born from equestrian saddle girths, and the horsebit. Frames are made by Kering Eyewear in Italy and Japan, in premium Mazzucchelli acetate, metal and gold-toned detailing.
