Tired of glasses or contacts getting in your way?
Imagine waking up every morning and seeing the world clearly, without the hassle of glasses or contact lenses. Orthokeratology makes this possible.
This proven night-time vision correction, known as orthokeratology, works for both adults and children, giving you clear vision all day.
What is Orthokeratology and How Does it Work?
Orthokeratology uses custom-designed rigid gas permeable lenses, called orthokeratology lenses, to gently reshape your cornea while you sleep. This reshaping works like “eye braces,” but without surgery. When you wake and remove the orthokeratology lenses, you can enjoy clear vision all day without glasses or daytime contacts.
Here’s how it works in 4 easy steps:
- Insert orthokeratology lenses before bedtime.
- Enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep.
- Remove the orthokeratology lenses when you wake up.
- Experience clear vision for the rest of the day.
Orthokeratology is both safe and reversible. If you stop wearing the orthokeratology lenses for 48–72 hours, the cornea gradually returns to its natural shape.
For children, orthokeratology offers another advantage, it can slow the progression of myopia, something standard glasses and contact lenses cannot achieve.

Benefits of Orthokeratology for Adults and Kids
All-Day Freedom from Glasses and Contact Lenses
Wake up and see clearly without reaching for glasses or inserting contacts. This is especially useful for active lifestyles, demanding jobs, or anyone who simply prefers convenience. Orthokeratology gives you that freedom.
Reduced Dry Eye Irritation
Unlike soft contact lenses, orthokeratology lenses are worn only at night. This reduces the time lenses touch the eye, which can help minimise dryness and irritation.
Safe and Fully Reversible Vision Correction
Unlike LASIK, orthokeratology is not permanent. If you stop wearing orthokeratology lenses, your vision will gradually return to its original state.
Suitable for Many Vision Needs
Orthokeratology can correct myopia and, in certain cases, astigmatism. Therefore, it’s a great choice for adults who may not be candidates for laser eye surgery.
Ideal for Sport and Outdoor Activities
For sports, outdoor activities, or jobs that require clear vision without glasses, orthokeratology lenses are an ideal solution.
Orthokeratology: The Gold Standard for Myopia Control
Orthokeratology is widely recognised as the leading optical treatment for myopia control, often called the ‘gold standard’.
International research shows that orthokeratology lenses can slow myopia progression in children by around 50%. In some cases, results are even better. For example, a child who might reach -8.00 diopters without treatment could stabilise at around -4.00 diopters with orthokeratology.
This reduction not only improves daily vision but also lowers the risk of serious eye conditions later in life. In our own clinic, we’ve seen children achieve excellent results with orthokeratology lenses, often exceeding expectations.

Orthokeratology (OrthoK) Fit & Teach Fee $1,200
Our orthokeratology fit covers all consultation fees for the first 12 months. This includes teaching you how to insert and remove orthokeratology lenses, making any adjustments, and refitting or exchanging moulds if necessary. We also provide a starter aftercare pack containing Daily Lens Cleanser, Menicon Protein Remover, lubricating eye drops, two Lens Suction Removers, and contact lens cases.
-
Orthokeratology (OrthoK) Lens $400 each
The price of orthokeratology lenses depends on complexity. Some patients may need a toric or dual-axial OK lens design for corneal astigmatism, while others may require lenses for high myopia of -6.00D or more. To maintain eye health, comfort, and treatment results, it’s best to replace orthokeratology lenses every 12–18 months. Many health funds offer rebates for orthokeratology lenses.
-
Returning Orthokeratology Wearers Fit Fee $500
We also provide refits for previous orthokeratology wearers, including those fitted overseas. If you are returning to treatment, we will ensure your orthokeratology lenses are updated for the best fit and vision.
